Veri*Factu for the self-employed without the hassle

If you are self-employed in Spain (an autónomo) and invoice with software, Veri*Factu applies to you too: it is mandatory from 01/07/2027 (Real Decreto-ley 15/2025). FacturaCom is invoicing software for the self-employed and businesses, ready for Veri*Factu, with IRPF withholding and recargo de equivalencia.

What changes

What Veri*Factu asks of the self-employed

What the rules ask of you

  • ! From 01/07/2027, your invoicing software must comply with Real Decreto 1007/2023.
  • ! Every invoice must carry its QR code and be recorded so it cannot be altered.
  • ! If your current software is not ready, you will have to change it.
  • ! Adapting late can lead to penalties.

  • ✓ Invoices with IRPF withholding and with recargo de equivalencia.
  • ✓ Includes the manufacturer's declaración responsable the rules require.
  • ✓ We install it, bring over your data and show you how to use it.

Dates

When it becomes mandatory: Veri*Factu for the self-employed

Real Decreto-ley 15/2025 sets two dates. Companies, which pay Spanish corporation tax (Impuesto sobre Sociedades), must invoice with compliant software from 01/01/2027. Everyone else, including the self-employed who pay IRPF on their business income, from 01/07/2027. The Spanish tax authorities have announced a further postponement that has not yet been published in the BOE: until it is, those are the dates.

Veri*Factu does not change how you work with your customers, but what your invoicing software does with each invoice: it records it, chains it to the previous one so it cannot be tampered with and adds a QR code your customer can check. If you invoice entirely by hand, the regulation does not apply to you; if you use software, it must comply. We explain it in detail in how Veri*Factu works.

FacturaCom is for the Spanish Tax Agency's common territory: it is not for the separate regional (foral) systems of the Basque Country or Navarre.

We take care of everything

We leave it up and running

You don't have to work out the setup yourself or move data by hand. We install FacturaCom, import the customers, items, price lists and balances from your old system, adapt it to your business and show you how to use it. After that, we support you whenever you need it. This is the process: switching invoicing software.

If you also run a shop, the same software includes a POS for shops that prints every receipt with its QR code. And if you invoice the public administration, it creates the e-invoice in Facturae format.
